Serving size: 5 portions

Method

  1. Sieve flour and salt together.

  2. Add 2 tspn hot oil.

  3. Dissolve 9 SugaRite sachets (1g each) in water and add to flour with curd and more water if required to make a stiff dough.

  1. Roll into chapatti size thickness (0.5 -0.6 cm)

  2. Cut into long stripes and then cut into diamonds..

  3. Deep fry on slow fire till light brown.

  4. Serve hot.

For Shakkar Para to be baked, please add little baking powder in the dough. Shakkar Para can be baked between 150-2000 C for 10-12 min. You can adjust the timings and temperature depending on the desired crispyness of the Shakkar Para.
